Zusammenfassung: In this paper three different methods of controlling the phase current in a switched reluctance motor are shown and discussed. The presented control algorithms are based on single loop feedback systems and on feedback linearization systems. A MATLAB/SIMULINK model based on the mechanical and electrical equations of the drive is presented in this paper. The shown control algorithms have been implemented on a DSPACE signal processor board and tested on a 6/4 switched reluctance motor. Comparison between simulation and measurement is discussed in this paper.
