Abstract In this paper an open loop observer for the phase current in a 6/4 switched reluctance motor is presented. Based on the mathematical model of the switched reluctance motor and the used power electronics a MATLAB/SIMULINK™ model for one phase of the drive is presented. Experimental results for different operation points are shown in this paper. The observer is implemented on a DSPACE™ signal processor board. |
